Chicago’s annual Gay Pride Parade was yesterday in a part of the city known simply as “Boystown”. Since the first parade in 1969, it has grown into an event that includes thousands upon thousands of participants and spectators. It was one of about a dozen or so taking place Sunday around the United States.
I have been to San Francisco’s parade, and I can safely say the Chicago version is much cleaner and the participants are extremely creative and certainly were having a great time. In fact, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, including this group of guys who wore their tighty whities for the big occasion.
