I’m not a big fan of sunset and sunrise photos, but I’ve been taking in a lot of them the last few weeks as my wife Erica and I travel for friends’ weddings. Seems like every time we’re making our return to Chicago from another fun but busy weekend, the setting sun is providing the backdrop for our drive through the corn fields of Indiana. Since the terrain is so flat there, they seem to last forever.
I shot this photograph through the windshield of our car as we passed through Lafayette, Indiana. Sweet end to a nice weekend with friends we miss very much.
