Ballerina arena

The Chicago Cultural Center is a wonderful place to photograph. The building has incredible visuals and amazing light. Yesterday, professional ballet dancers hosted a version of The Nutcracker for hundreds of youngsters. I made a few photos I liked of the kids dancing in their tutus with the pro dancers, but this one stood out to me. I just like the way Camille Plesha is framed by the grand room of the majestic Preston Bradley Hall at the center.

Chicago Parent’s Liz Hoffman put together a multimedia piece with a few more of my photos from this event. Watch it here.

  1. Love this photograph. Nicely done to capture the essence of the Cultural Center and the event!
