Office with a view
Spent a couple hours early this morning atop the roof of a 15-floor building under construction at Rush University Medical Center. It was windy, cold and because of a significant amount of pollution in the air, somewhat hazy. Not exactly ideal for shooting photos but I still love doing this sort of thing.
Shoots like this remind me there is earning a living, and then there’s earning a living. The roughly 500 workers on this job site know all about hard work. Thanks to Cindee Castronovo and Sharon Butler from Rush, and safety coordinator Cory Lind for all their hard work as well, which made it possible for me to document this. They are very good at their jobs and I appreciate their efforts.
