Shot another restaurant opening. Duckfat bar and restaurant in Forest Park is now open for business, boasting a full menu to coincide with a completely remodeled bar and dining space. It’s a nice spot and the folks there are kind. You’ll recognize plenty of familiar faces from their days at The Avenue Ale House just about a mile away in Oak Park.
I always like photographing in the kitchen of restaurants. It’s more “real” back there. Duckfat cook Manuel Martinez was hard at work Friday night as the late rush was on full-force.
